Current manual migration techniques are slow and expensive, with even a basic archive of 2000 hours of video requiring up to 2 years to complete.

These costs and time frames have been prohibitive for content owners when considering the options to migrate valuable content for future high-value functionality.

We offer expert services to migrate valuable videotape collections into your preferred data format. We do this from our facilities in Auckland, Sydney or Canberra.

We can handle almost any open reel or cassette format, in any quantity. Our innovative approach combines traditional video preservation skills with automated processes and new technology to deliver you assured quality and significantly lower costs per tape when compared to conventional processes.

All tapes are inspected and cleaned prior to replay. Cleaning improves the quality of video playback and helps to protect the tape from any further damage during replay. The video signal is analysed and corrected before encoding into the format of your choice.

Your newly digitized collection can be returned to you as files on a disc or data tape, ready for you to ingest into your digital asset management system, or we can host and manage the files on your behalf. Output to other formats such as DVD, Blu-Ray or even back to digital videotape is also possible.
